    Default Electric in the loft

Hey all. I've looked through this section of the forum for a bit, but will have to admit to being a total novice when it comes to electric principles.

I'm currently running a 250w hps, 5" RVK, 4" intake fan, 1kW blown air heater, humidifier, two 6" fans and an ecotechnics evolution fan controller.

Problem is, I have all of this running from one extension lead that goes up to the loft.

Could this cause me an issue? Potential overload? Is there any extension that I can use that would be safer, some kind of heavy duty extension? Running from multiple sockets downstairs?

    Any help appreciated

I have 2 extensions running from 2 different sockets up in the loft mate. One of them I only use for the Light and everything else on the other one.. never had problems Just buy quality extensions not cheap ones.

Check my thread out I'll try find u a link. I drilled a hole in the wall expansions? And fed a cable down. That feeds a 2 gang wall socket which is feeding a lot of equipment.

I need to do another from another socket soon.

That's the thing. What's a quality extension? You may need to point me in the right direction!

Looks like something from the starship enterprise. That can only be a plus

if you can i would run a cable from your fuseboard up to your loft to another mini 3 way board, trust me over time these extension leads are no good

Imagine I'd need a sparky for that and it might look suspicious me wanting so many sockets in the loft?
