And yeah Joker when I turned my fan on to blow them the temps go up massively.
Make sure they are under 2mb in size, otherwise they'll fail to upload.

Thanks Viz! I'm a total noob had every problem under the sun with my first attempt so hoping to get it right this time.... I should invest in a better extractor fan really.
I'll turn it off for now, will it affect its growth much if it hasn't had any resistance?

You can put a plastic dome, cut a 2l cool-drink bottle and stick it over. Just remember to lift the dome to let fresh air in every day.

What light are you using that is causing the heat?

The fan blowing your seedling is not critical right now. Get your temps down.

Ahhh yes the dome... so I'm guessing keep the lid on? Would it still work with lid off?
    I'm using a 300w dual spectrum

You can use the bottoms (or tops) from 2 litre soft drink bottles.
    I use these...

£1 from Poundland - just drill a few holes in the bottom (Which will be the top once over the plant)

I tend to use the bottom half of a plastic bottle. But yes you can leave them on and just take off to give the air a chance to cycle.

Am surprised how hot your box is getting. Ambient temps must be quiet high then.

Very nice Apsie, think a trip to poundland is in order for me.

IIRC Home Bargains sell them for 99p.

You can drill through them without them cracking or shattering.
