    Default water pump question

    hi guys
    i got atman at 107 pump
    and i sew i had the option to make it inline pump for my dwc system
    now in my local hydro shop the seller told me that this pump will melt down if i will not run it inside the water
    so what you guys think?

    Yes that is correct this is a submersible pump.

    so if it isnt in water it will just get hot no?
    and so why do thay give the option to make it inline

    If it states that it is an inline pump, then it will work fine outside the res. If it's a submersible, then it needs to be in the water. It will need to be primed first though, if being used outside.

    what do you mean need to be primed if used outside?
    so i can use it outside water?

    i dont see that its says it will work as inline pump
    but i also dont see it saying oinly run in water

    If it is the same as the pump in the first picture, then it looks to me that it can be used "Inline" it has the nozzle to attach a hose. The bottom one is the intake & the top one is the out.

    working good
    if somthing goes wrong it wil go now ot after few days
