Hey guys/gals wondering what the highest rated 600w hps flowering bulb would be.

Osram ceramic bulbs look quite good... suppose to last a lot longer but ive never used 1 so just going by what ive heard, not personal experience..
Ive got a sunmaster 600W dual spec and it seems ok so far... got a reasonable harvest from it.

So u guys would say dual spec rather than flowering bulb.
Is there alot of difference in yield ect?

depends if you doin auto or photo. dual spec on auto from start to end keeps things easy
for me on photo strains. MH bulb on veg an first 2weeks of flip. then the HPS flower bulb till finish. with potential to stick MH back in for very last week but yet to try that.

im currently trialing a powerplant superveg MH's instead of my normal sunmaster dual specs and only into second week and i have noticed a good bit more leafage and seemingly "happier perky girls" ,(but thats subjective still i spose), in my pinapple expresses than before with the dualspec.

im trying seperate bulbs out as my Autos only have 2-3ish weeks of veg and ive always had a nagging feeling i wasnt getting full veg power out of the dual specs during that duration being as some is blue band sharing the 600w with red hence less of each?.

having started growing during the led arrival i also want to try old ways as well as present and new ways.part of the learning curve i reckon.
    and,,well,,its fun...innit.

    Thanks for ur replys
I'm currently using a dual spec bulb
never used anything else as ive only been growing a year and feel it's time for replacement.
My girls are about ready to go into flower so was thinking grab a flowering bulb e.g the sunmaster HPS delux bulb for flowering. Also investing in a MH for next spin.
What are u thoughts sound like a plan or stay dual spec same as I am now?
