    Default Lighting during flowering.

I am a new grower and opted to do DWC indoors. Could anyone advise me on the height of my parabolic light with a 600w HPS bulb. Thanks

He has a valid point locky_7!

I couldn't really guess at the answer as my wattage is 250w, inside a cool tube, so it's miles away from what you are talking about

That said, I've always heard good things about the lights getting close with parabolics....

24 inches above the tallest cola of the plant. 18 inches if you have additional cooling.

eg, a fan blowing between the light & plant.

I can get a 400w pretty close with a parabolic youll need sufficient extraction though and circ fan. Also if your new consider dwc temp and airpump/stone/water chiller noise. Can you keep the water at 18c or feed atleast 1/2-1l of air per min to l of water?.

I used to use 2 clip on fans for both ends of the shade to try and cool the bulb
