So is hydrolysed the same? As in fungi spores and beneficial bacteria or is it chemical based?

    Thanks for the input.

I'm using great white for now as its beneficial so probably helps form better, stronger roots.

I'll go sterile if I fail this way.

I am in a similar position. I am about to go out and get a chiller as my temps are circa 21 or 22 degrees.

I make sure to use cannazyme to break down old root and keep a clean res. I survived in nft trays without a chiller and temps hit 24 on occasion.

Look into flooming or waterfalling for your DO if you want to dobaway with the heat from air pumps.

My air pump doesn't create any heat buddy. If anything it blows cold air through the area as its outside my groom.

You'd be surprised at the temperature of the air it pumps

It works with a diaphragm so it's what ever temperature it goes in at plus a tiny bit extra from the minute amount of compression but not even a degree increase.

The air it takes in is about 15 degrees so it never comes out over 16 meaning it actually helps keep temps down. If I turn it off my res temp increases so to me that says it has a cooling effect, not warming.

So a 0.6 degree increase in air is minimal really.
