    Default TheHottDawg's 3rd grow 1st scrog

Hi guys I'm starting a new diary straight away after my recent harvest. Few wee switch ups this time I reckon.
Grooms been cleaned out and tore down for a couple of days while I get some work done on our heating so while I wait for the all clear I've got 6 seedlings under 300w cfl in my cupboard.
Unfortunately 2 seeds are getting binned as I've decided to do a scrog grow using 0.6/0.6 scrog line pros and my groom could only really fit 4 in there comfortably.
So here's what ill be working with.

Attic grow room insulated 125mm thick
    600w mh for veg
600w and 400w hps for flower
6" rvk l1 and rhino pro with ecotechnics fan speed controller.
5 " 2 speed inline fan for intake.
4 clip on ram fans and 16" box fan for air circulation.
    Humidifier and dehumidifier
15l buckets with 0.6x0.6 scrog line pro
    2.5k oil rad
B&Q Verve soil, vermiculite and perlite.
Rhizo, calmag, silicon, big bud, old timers grow and bloom.
Seeds are sweet seeds creme caramel x3 and Sam Sara holy grail 69 x1.

Looking forward to watching the grow. I'm wanting to try a scrog grow next.

Sorry for lack of updates but life has been hectic recently.
So now I have my groom rebuilt and my 4 girls are under 600w of mh. I'm having trouble with temps being too low lights on and off I think because of my new rvk being a lot more powerful than my last extraction.
I have my 2.5k oil rad on full tilt 24/7 but lights on temps won't get past 22 and lights of 17. Before I was able to keep everything at 19 and 26.
All 3 of my creme caramels have reached the netting and the sam Sara holy grail will probably start getting a move on soon as she's a week younger than the other 3 girls.
Been just feeding all 4 girls plain water with a little rhizo each feed. Lights on 18/6.

Be interesting to see how this goes HottDawg. Have worked out your waste run off management yet?

Hi Dawg. Looking great in there mate. I love these little nets.. was very tempted to give them a try myself. I am struggling with the temps as well in the attic. My 6'' L1 rvk is running as low as possible and my ballasts is running at 600w keeping the temps in the 20-22 range.. for lights off I got 1 kw fan heater. I think it will be cheaper option for you to run your lights 24/7 instead of usign 2.5 kw oil radiator mate.. also I can see you use only the base of your parabolic shade? Why not put it all together that will also help you rise the temps a little bit under the parabolic.

Cheers Bulls. They seem quite handy as I can still lift the pots. Only thing is they are 15 quid a pop which is pretty expensive and its probably a good idea to use string or somthing to add extra squares as the holes are pretty big on them.
Mines the 6" l1 also mate and the difference in it and my old 4" inline fan is night and day lol I'm using an ecotechnics controller aswell but have had to put the max on 46 to stop it going any harder lol
My old fan kept temps and Rh perfect but wasn't clearing the groom quick enough and was having serious smell leak issues because of it.
I was thinking of building the parabolic back up again as the only reason I took it apart was because my last grow I had another 400w hps running beside the 600 and didn't have space for the reflector but I reckon this time the 600w will be more than enough to get me a decent yeild.
I have the oil rad going lights on and off because with it off during lights on atm my temps go to 18.

Also is it ok to run photos 24/7 in veg? If so I might turn of the oil rad and keep the wee tube heater running as it's only couple hundred w.
