    Default Tying up plants.

OK so my plant fell over last night I e tried tying rope around the whole plant to bunch it together that didn't work. It just toppled the plant in a different direction.

I can't tie each branch up as there's around 20 and they are all big I don't want the weight to pull the buds off from holding it up.

I'm in hydro in a box so it's only a net pot holding it in. Can't put bamboo sticks in.

I've tried tying a rope from one corner to another to stop it tippling over on one side but it's not working.

I've already snapped a load of branches!

Hi Fwank. Sorry to hear that mate. I experienced that myself and its terrible. Your option might to use pea netting if you can't stick canes in there..
You do what Jesse did to his huge colas and tie the up to the ceiling.

Going to try tying to the roof bars. Only have 2 so could be a long one!

Tied it up best I could couldn't do like Jesse did it but it will hold the plant for now while it's flushing.

This yoyo and cable tie? How does it work? I've got 2 yoyos never used them as I thought they were missing a part to hold them up?

Fwank . Maybe get some bamboo sticks . Make a type of pyramid or X that extends over your plants and use them as tutors . Ive had to do that outside when buds made the plant droop .

I'm going to have to come up with something for my next run. Either make a scrog with extra height.

I tried laying sticks across but they just fall over.

    Thanks though.

I was panicking cos I hadn't checked on them since yesterday morning.

i used to use bungee cords to each corner of the tent, wrapped around the trunk of the plant.
I reckon next time i will use the bigger net pots, the 8 inch ones which have a wider brim to them next time. This should stop it from moving side to side as much. I find the 200mm normal ones are a bit wobbly when you have a top heavy tree above it
I use the yoyos as well, tie a string between the tent roof poles and tie the yoyos to the string, they have a little cut out which you can slip over the string.
