If I understood his message correctly, he said you will get 3 Jack Herrer seeds, because that's what you asked for.
So you don't have to grow 9 plants.

I think he made the right decision of giving less seeds per person so more people can participate.

I thought initially he expected people to grow 3 different strains seeds 3x3 = 9

Then many people pointed out that this will bar many people from participating in the giveaway,
so he changed it.
