Most hydro stores seem to keep Old Timers... and, of course, there is always Ebay....

I'd grab a bag of Plant Magic Soil Supreme, a bottle of Biobizz Fishmix for veg, some Epsom salts for foliar spraying and a bottle of Plant Magic Oldtimer Bloom.

I'd also advise you get a 600W digital dimmable ballast and 6" extraction. The Maxibright DigiLight is a good ballast. No need for the 400V gold model though, stick with the 240V.

4 plants in 15l pots would be good for that space with a 4 week veg.

You don't need any pH control with an organic soil grow.

I'd urge you to take a look at Donmitch's diary. In my opinion he's the most efficient soil grower on this site as results are always good with minimal fuss...which is what we want really

Thanks mate ill probably upgrade my set up after this first frow its just to get my head around everything lol

Another question i have is, will all the fans and ballast make a loud noise? Like will i be able to sleep in the next room with them all on? Also do i only use the cf when flowering and just the intake fan and clip on fans during veg. And do yous have the fans on 24/7 or only when the lights are on?

    Thanks alot!

    Hello Nufc..

Keep the filter on 24 hours a day through veg and flower.
Gets rid of any smells and helps with fresh air circulation
    in the tent.

The fans are a bit noisy without a fan controller that allows you to turn it down. I have a 4" fan hooked up to my controller and I can barely hear it. The bad news is my controller was £240!
