More than welcome mate. Will just be pictures of parts to start of with but hoping to have near on completed this weekend and will just waiting on a couple of small parts to arrive

Let us know the cost Buster will be interested to compare a self build cost to a manufactured one.

The cost of raw materials will be about 60%-70% of commercially available ones (if you buy non-brand names)

The difference is time and skill.
If you:
1. Have a lot of free time
2. Are skilled and knowledgeable

Then by all means build your own, you will probably end up with a superior product which is better suited to your needs.

However if you're not both of these things, it might be easier to buy an LED made by 12 year old Chinese girls.
That's the reason I bought rather than fabricated mine.

I disagree on the time front it's not massively time consuming ( I work my arse off and have a family) and you've not got to be greatly skilled either. It's very simple and straight forward. I will hopefully show how simple and straight forward it is when I start putting it together. I am adding a couple of bits that are a bit technical but they are not needed at all and more I want them added as whole point of building your own light.
