CXB3590 10x COB LED 500w BUILD

Right I got everything ready to get back up and running. Decided on doing a self build after loads of research.

First off a list all the bits I'll be using etc and then slowly start adding photos etc as start the build this weekend.

Right here's the list so far and may add other bit's. One of the things I love about making my own is I can pimp it as much as I want and how I want

10x cxb3590 COB LEDS 3500k CD 72v 80ra

10x round heatsinks 150-70mm passive cooling

2x meanwell HLG-240H-C700B dimmable Led drives

10x ideal 50-2303CR COB Holders

10x ideal 50-2300AN and KB-D82-90RF reflector kit

2x AC80-260v 20A LCD digital voltage/amp/watt meter

2x 100k linear potentiometer (for dimming)

Angled Ali for frame

Thermal tape

22awg solid core wire

Riviots bolts and etc

Still waiting on a couple of bits to turn up but have all the important stuff ready to go.

I've decided on a three bar set up to cover a 1.2mx1.2m grow area. It will go 3x cob bar 14/15" between each cob - 4x cob bar at 9" between each cob and another 3x cob... For maxium spread with no central hotspot and nice even spread of light

Will be running them on 2 drivers and adding dimming as well as wattage/current meters for each so I know what I running them at. At max I'll be hitting a true 500w running each cob at 50w

Loads of stuff on theses self builds online and there's lads claiming to 1.9g a watt

I'll start up loading photos in the next couple of days and will be running a diary using these lights

Cheers C should be interesting and be good to see in action. I'll end up selling the 6 spider if they preform as well as all the hype and buying more

Well at least it's been used rather than sitting in the box lol.

Yeah some good stuff out there that people have done, one day I'll have a dabble again but not for some time still..
