Default 2 plants. One double in size

    Hi all.

I've got 2 feminized northern lights growing. Both seeds germinated via papertowel method. And then planted in soil once taproots sprouted.
All good so far no problems. However one of the ladies is double in size. Both high and as wide than the other. Is this normal?

One thing I can think of is when the taproots sprouted. The shorter lady had her taproot bent back 180 towered the seed. Other than that I can't see any other issues

Yes that is normal, sometimes they don't grow at the same rate as each other.

What about final yields? Would they be the same?

I am growing 3 of the same strain. 2 look similar and the other looks like completely different genetics. Size is also different

I've grown 8 seeds from the same 10 pack before, all 8 plants were notably different. 30cm difference in height between the tallest & shortest. A few were quite bushy, some were slender.

I'm not 100% sure, but S1 seeds can carry a few different phenos from both the original parent strains. The unstability will broaden with each filial generation of seed.
F1's are generally quite stable, whereas breeding 2 F1's together, will produce a much more diverse set of parental phenotypes, showing the good & bad sides of the parent plants.
