On which part of the bud? The pistils or trichomes? I'd say over half of the pistils are amber now.

If half are Amber then chop chop. I only ever go 20% Amber as any more leaves me stranded on my sofa day After day lol.

I wouldn't go on pistils. Amber Trichs mate. More ambers greater the couch lock, up to you to decide what percentage of amber to cloudy you want. You will still be producing new white pistils near the end, it's just the sign of a new flower being produced(Annuals will produce flowers continuous until season conditions stop the production, they'll pass their best but still produce flowers so it's really no guide at all) and the colour change in them seems unrelated to the colour of the Trichs. When you smoke it's the colour of the trichs which dictates your smoke experiance, Not pistils so go on the trichs.

Won't be too long mate. Remember it's the colour of the trichs on the bud, not leaves and let your instinct tell you. Soon as you're happy they're nearly there start your flush.

I'm sorry dude. I was baked and I thought you said half trichs were Amber.

Don't chop going off the pistils and is say virtually all pistils will be orange by harvest time. Maybe a few yellow ones but mist should be orange and retracted.

As said though it's not a good harvest guide. Use a handheld microscope to see the balls on the trichs.
