    Default Greenfly infestation!

2 weeks into my grow and have found these little shites on my plants (the leaf pictured is not canabis, it's a fushia I STUPIDLY put in my grow cupboard to get it going!) I've identified then as greenfly but unsure of how to treat the problem, what's safe to use? Thanks

Pyrethrum ec5 mate folia treat em with that. Also get some stick fly traps to prevent it from happening rather than treat when you've got them😉

I remember some years back I had a greenfly problem on some house plants, and I just sprayed them with bog standard fly spray, which I believe is Pyrethrum based. Got rid of the greenfly pronto. But that was on non-consumable house plants. Would the same stuff be ok on the plants we are interested in here? I mean before they start flowering (I guess it would taint any buds with that horrible smell they all seem to have).

I ask because I'm just starting a few seedlings off which will be outside in pots, and there's a fair chance there will be bugs only too keen to make a home in them when they are up and running and living outside.

any pest spray with pyrethrum will do it, use it VERY sparingly & then after the issue is gone wash the surface of your plants.

Infact, have a pick at the flies manually and wash them if you can - put paper towels under the plant to catch any falling pests. You've got to go slow and be patient.
When it comes to pests, get them early and get them manually - at least then you can confirm they're fucking gone.

Pyrethrum is actually non-toxic, that's why it's used on organic farms sometimes.

As have I, squirt of Fairy Liquid in a spray bottle of warm water. Greenfly Armageddon.

yeah, bit of washing up liquid diluted with a lot of water, not only does it poison the pests but it sticks to them. and again be sure to wash the surface of your plants after.
I use a mixture of washingup liquid and vinegar for the weeds I don't want in my garden (don't use vinegar for your weed) and it only works so well because the washing up liquid makes everything sticky.
