Ideally you want your vented air to be exhausted into another space or outside. Your fresh air should not be coming from the same space that the exhaust vents the hot air in.
i have the extractor going straight through window, which is half open
intake? hmm, just from the room itself

Looking at that plant mate, i think you have been a bit overzealous (well way too overzealous really.. i would have given another 4-6weeks personally.. looks like it had a while to go to me... do you have a 60x loupe?, you have to check your trichomes to get a definitive answer if your plant is ready or not, dont use the breeders time frame as its nearly always wrong...
Good luck mate, if you get a diary going in future then i will sub up, remember that patience is the most important thing in growing canna.

    hi glynne
    thanks very much
    yes, you are very right
    i didnt want to harvest
but i'm making suppositiries for my wife with breast cancer, and we have 8 days oil left from previous lot, so i had to take some down, to leave for 7 days to dry and 1 to make the oil
the trichromes are there, have been for a while, but have not turned brown at all, i am unsure of how much difference it makes to wait for this turn
