When is to much electricity?

I went my friends this afternoon and he as 2 rooms with 2 tents and 9 lights between the 2
There 600w hps.surely this will flag up as a huge amount of electricity.and the electricity company will get suspicious
They haven't has yet.but does it flag?do they get suspicious?he as a smart meter with utilita

Honesty the tents are 2x2x2. And 2 x 1.5 x 2
And I think it's over kill but he insists he gets huge yields.but I'd shut myself In case it flags up.could it?

9 lights 2 mum's, they must be the size of the tomato plants in Disneyland ffs, I'm still interested how many 600 watt lights would be to many. I would like to use up to three at some point in the future?

I dont think they will say anything if he pays his bills in full and on time... they just want their money...
He could have a big marine fish tank, they take shit loads of power between pumps, lights, skimmers, etc... or a big welder or a big tumble dryer. Mine is 3.5kw.
The list of excuses goes on....pay your bills on time and i dont think you have a problem.
This is just mho tho.

But 9 600W lights seems a bit excessive for 10 plants...
A touch of BS that he only has 10 plants in my opinion.... if im wrong, sorry..
My mate grows 8 Luton Cheese plants under 4 600W lights, his last crop was 96oz dried from those 8 plants... not too shabby.
