Ok will continue with the calmag, I droppd the EC as there was a bit of nute burn showing and as the pH was dropping thought it may help, will keep it as is for nowthen.
Can I just add calmag to the res ? or will it be best to dilute ?
Should I start with a new batch of water ?

Ok will go for that, I have enough ready made water to do that today. I also have the bits an bobs to make an outside of the tent res of the same size, which would double my nute capacity 10 to 20 Ltr, buckets connected and using a small pump to recirculate between buckets.
    Would this be better ?

Make sure you meter are well calibrated in proper temps eh , that can throw readings off quite a bit

Well al depending for the res , you dont want it to stangnate for too long ,if its recirculated say 15 minutes every hour and have a good cycle it will be fine ,
