    As said in the title... can you grow in the woods... I'm stuck for plots

    You'll want to find a plot that is well out of the way. At least a 2-3 hour trek.

    As Loki said, but also the types of trees - some can make the earth too acidic. Also, their roots will sap the moisture from the ground. Unless you're there with a lot of water, then find somewhere else.
