Just noticed another big issue with your setup.

The clay balls in your net pots are way way too low.

It needs to be pitch black in your buckets for toots to grow properly. Light will mess them up.

They need filling right to the top. Even then I cover the pots with discs of foil covered uncle wrap just to make sure no light is getting into the buckets.

In any hydro system the roots need complete darkness mate.

I've got some seedlings around 8 days old that look like yours but are green.

I suggest you completely change water and start from scratch.

Rock wool DOES affect the water pH. Not by much but it certainly does and that's why you soak them for longer. Not by the massive swings your saying.

However silicon and rhizotonic all increase the pH.

Get the base level on point then focus on other stuff.

So water from my tap sanding after a good few hours is 8.0ph and 0.1ec if I ad rhizotonic should. I get my ec to 0.3 and then correct ph to 5.8

To get ec to 0. 3 you need a hydroponic A&B formula.

Rhizotonic doesn't add much ec if any at all.

However rhizotonic will increase your pH.

Keep your pH fluctuations down it can stress the plants. but don't always pH it back to the same number. Different nutrients are absorbed at different pH.
5.5 to 6.5 pH is totally fine.

I prefer to pH down my tap water to 5 then use rhizotonic at recommended dose. Usually brings it in line. If not I adjust with pH down and silicon.

Everyone is different though so find a process that is good for you.

Don't sweat it. I have seedlings that similar to yours every strain is different.
