What ^^^^ said... unless your running 10 x 600W lights and dont pay your bill then you got nothing to worry about.

My bill has only gone up 2-3 dollars since using my 400 watt system and now I have a 600 right beside it and my bill still was within 7 dollars of what it was before I started growing.. People over exaggerated the cost and heat of HPS in my opinion

Yes you are correct there, but I was advised not to get HPS because of cost and heat from American. I did and haven't looked back but yes I have seen and heard prices are much more over there.. hell hotshot pays .10 cents more than me per kWh
