I know they're no Kilner jar but are these better than tupperware given that they're mostly glass?

As long as there is some sort of seal on the lid they'll be fine

I use them for my sugar coffee etc... they are good.. never let humidity in or out.

Sweet, they are. quid each from Morrisons. Got myself a few, going to get some more. I was worried the plastic could cause problems to the taste with it not being glass.
Going to take some time to build a collection of Kilners. Not something I can afford to go out and buy 10 of.
Thanks MC.

i have kilner jars but find them awkward, jam jars are neat and tidy easy to stack

I've saved a few of the douwe egberts coffee jars (or whatever its called), I figured they may be of use.

Instant is freeze dried, it'll suck up any moisture in the air which will spoil it and bags don't reseal airtight.
Whereas ground is just that and a small amount of moisture won't hurt it.
(i was curious myself a handful of years ago, and that was what I was told)
