Default Newbie, looking to finally take the plunge!

    Hi all!
After months of research, and gaining encouragement from seeing the advice and results obtained from budget stealth boxes, I finally going to take the plunge, in the next few weeks. Going to try Auto, since it seems to be the least complicated and I'll know quickly, if i've had much success?

Look forward to chatting to you all!

Autos are actually more difficult due to the fact that you have finite time and any mistakes cannot be corrected without loss of yield. So you need to keep on top of everything and deal with issues ASAP but the goal is to try avoid them in the first place. It's easier said than done but after a few grows of trial and error you will start getting a handle on things. Good luck

Use b&q verve compost and you should only have to water it for the first few weeks and feed in flower.

That compost always did the job for me.

I'd say not to use autos for reasons already stated in the previous reply.

Photo period plants allow you to choose when you're ready to flower where an auto could be struggling or underfed and it will still try to flower but the yield will take a hit.

Just some advice dont bother with stealth boxes and all that. If you have your own property youll be fine. If the police come around they will find it anyways. Youd be much better off with a tent. And its easier to controll temps.

You have come to the right spot buddy, tons of great diaries on autos and if you do a diary you will have a lot of people helping so you will no doubt succeed in your attempt.

Thanks for all the welcoming advice.
I have my own apartment, but it's a one bedroom, in a complex. Therefore, I'm not looking at something as compact as say, a pc case. Think "chest of drawers" size would do me. Any suggestions for a first grow, thats both beginner friendly, with a subtle aroma? Trying to avoid anything that is gonna be noticeable from people on my floor.

You could get a 4x2x5(feet) tent 55 USA dollars
Rhino Pro carbon filter 90USA dollars
HPS/mh between 60-300 USA dollars depending on brand and wattage
And Rvk extraction fan 85-110 USA dollars depending on size and be set to go..
also I enjoy the airpot for the pot.
You could even go with a smaller tent like 2.5x2.5x5 feet
The soil will depend on where you live.. as some brands you can't get in USA that are popular in UK

P.S the carbon filter is as important as Lights and seeds!

do a guerilla grow and grow some big trees. u can still do the auto indoors to. best way to learn is hands on experience

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.
