    Default Going to struggle...

So im a new grower and i listened and read all sorts of different things on the net..

I went for a gavita 1000e De along with its controller

Hyper fan for extract along with a 5" intake

Did a little test and s*** i think im going to struggle.

Humidity is well below 30% but i think that will change when i draw air from outside instead of just in the loft for test purposes.

Ive got a speed controler and at the min bringing the power down to 600w my fan helps to keep the temps controlled....i know this will change when i start sticking plants in there.

The temp on my fan and gavita controller match up pretty well but when i look at the temp/hum meter in the room that showings a higher temp and thats with all the sensors spread 10mm apart from each other......its only a bog standard cheap meter so could that be why there is a difference in the temps ?

my room is totally sealed except for the in an out takes.

I know ive jump in to much with what i've bought but hey its done now but could do with some advice on cooling more????

Can aiming a little fan at the gavita bulb help ?

Only doing a few test before i get cracking, going to build the intake to come from outside instead of the loft space to see how much of a difference it makes

Yeah, test it all out & make sure that everything's good before starting the grow... nothing worse than trying to work on a groom mid grow

For the testing yeah but to the other side of the loft space to my intake, it will be going down a drain pipe when its all connected properly

Thats what i intend to do, i know the gavita at 600 can be handled temp wise but going higher is when the temp rises....the humidity may be a problem but once i've made an intake from outside that should surely give me an idea if i need a humidifier

Dont spend too much time and money trying to get things "just right".

Youll find it neer on impossible to get it tickety boo.

Too hot in summer too cold in winter etc.

You dont mention the temps, but as long as you have a good airflow running through, you should be ok.
30% humidity is normal with hps, they do dry the air somewhat, youll have the opposite problem when the room is full of green.

Dont know if you can dim the gavita?,maybe something to look into for real hot days.

Iv packed up all my loft kit recently, best day of my life lol. (just jesting fella).

    Good luck
