Default Do I need to filter my Air-con exhaust?

Hello ladies and gents, it's been a while!
Planning another grow starting this month.
I'm going to buy an Air-con/dehumidifier unit this time around as I'm upping the number of lights this time and could do without any heat issues during the summer. Does anyone have any experience using an AC unit? If the exhaust from the AC unit is going outside, does this need filtering the same as I would have a carbon filter on my normal fan exhaust? If this is required does anyone know how to go about it?
    Thanks all,
Will get a diary up when the groom is set up!

I really have no idea mate. I've never had my hands on an A/C unit so I don't really know how they operate

I’ve got a portable unit I think it is around 9000btu. If it is in the tent it defiantly needs a carbon on the exhaust but the problem is it seriously hinders the exhaust Power. If it’s outside the tent there is not need for one as long as you have got a cf inside the tent.
