Thread: What do you do with your trim

Default What do you do with your trim

    Hi Guys and Gals.

What do you do with your trim? I don't mean turning into butter etc. I mean what do you do once you've cut it off the plant.

Do you dry it till it's bone dry, then freeze?
Or, straight into the freezer with it?

I normally throw it away, but the last grow wasn't huge so I kept most of it and left it on the bud. It smokes a little harsh, and nothing like the bud.

As my grows are small, it will take a few grows to get enough to make some hashish.

How do you all prepare your weed for such an event?

    Thank you

    TAT

Won't that turn it into mush when it thaws out, mate?

I guess you'll still have to burp it, mate, yes?

I had it in a cardboard box for a while. Bone dry, green as Wales, harsh as fuck. The trim left on the plant wasn't much better.

    Thanks guys.

Thanks, mate. I'll give it a go. Also, it's a good reason to throw out some vegetables to make room.

While you're here, MC. I have another question...

I have 2 photo seeds soaking. I normally grow in 11 litre Wilma pots using soil. I am thinking of growing the next two in 17 litre Wilma pots.

I haven't yet decided if to start them in cacti pots (they are small - about the size of a large egg) or in 1 litre pots. Then transfer into the 17 litres.

Using either Rhizo or Seaweed (as well as fungal) to get the roots to fill up the pot. Any idea how long that would take please? I know I am looking at least a 7 week veg minimum as it is.

I don't want it to be too high before the flip, but would like to get most, if not all, of the pot filled with roots.

    Thank you.

I dry mine out a couple months, than make keith to hash out of it. The role on the far left is from just leaves, a dark green 100 Micron, the ones on the right are from bud, Dark brown to gold, depending on the Micron.

They look delicious, Hotshot. I bet that took a lot of trim to get that amount.

I 'leave' it to dry then throw it in an airtight bucket until I need it.
Make butter out of the better trim and will be making bubble bag hash tonight with the rest.

Thank you for replying, mate. I won't be making any butter as I rarely use real butter or spread as it is. It just seems to a shame to waste it every time that I may as well make hashish, because smoking them as they are is the pits.
