    Smile Grow Tent Options?

    Hi All,

    My first post...

I've been given a 600W light, 150/600mm rhino filter and 6" ruck fan by a family memeber that was using it in a small, self made grow room until recently.

I'd like to buy a decent quality 1.2m x 1.2 m grow tent that will last a while and have been looking at these two ranges:

    Secret Jardin Grow Tents

    Budbox Grow Tents

I like the idea of the 2 year warranty on the Secret Jardin tents, but I quite like the idea of the white material on the Budbox.

Or are there any other good quality tents out there at sensible money? Be great to hear from some people who have used either type for couple of years or more...

    Thanks in advance,

    Simon

Welcome to the forum Simon, if your going for a secret Jardin be sure it's the DR model and not the DS as the DS are of poor quality. Good quality tent brands to look out for are Greenqube,Hydrolabs and Green room. The green qube being my preferred choice

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

Hydrolab do look like good value for money. Any thoughts on white vs silver material?

I ordered a Hydro Lab and it came yesterday 120/120/180 as I was restricted to height in the building. I have nothing to compare this tent with but it does seem to be good quality throughout. It took around 30 minutes or less to put together, was real easy, one man job.

All poles and brackets are metal, zips very strong, fabric heavy and well designed. I would imagine if the poles were weak they would fail when initially erecting the tent as it is a little bit of a fight getting the tent onto the poles if you don't have the height to turn the tent on its side.

Called the guys at Hydro Labs before I bought it and they were very helpful.

The Hydro is a bit more expensive than the ebay ones so I presume better quality but as I mentioned I have no other tent to compare this one to.

Both white or silver will work just as well as each other. You may gain extra light reflection using the white par+ tents but then your talking more money.

Rightho, thanks. So Hydrolab look like the way to go overall, but do quite like all the extra bits and pices you get with the Secret jardin, like the side bars and webit netting...

Black Orchid are good sturdy tents.
I've got two and are still going strong after over two years.
