    Default Grow Tent For Sativa

    Hello,

    My grow tent is 80x80x160cm

I really want to grow two Sativa strains in here and I really don't have space for a bigger tent.

Is this going to be possible? I'm happy to manage the height of the plant with LST if this isn't too difficult in the space I have

    Thanks

What light are you planning to use mate?
You can get something called Rox.. it can kill the stretch instantly if you need to mate.

pushing it for height tbh honest matey. but possible.

lst training, topping and quick veg will help. also run the MH bulb for 1st 2 weeks after flip and keep day and night temps tight say from 19-24

    This is my kit

    Secret Jardin HS80 measures 80cm x 80cm x 160cm
Euro with Maxibright Compact & 400W Sunmaster Lamp
Maxiswitch 2-Way Light Controller (10A) With Grasslin Timer
RUCK Fan & Rhino Pro Filter With Acoustic Ducting - 5 inch (365m3)

What are the disadvantages to a quick veg?
Are there any disadvantages to using Rox?

    Hi..

I've just completed a Haze grow in an 80x80x160 tent.
I just did plenty of lst and managed to keep the hight down
    to a nice level.

Made me laugh, grow tent for sativa, well a fucking big one lad.

How many plants, how long veg, training employed? In a 1.2 m tent id go for 2 big plants or 4 smaller ones and super crop fuck out of it mate

To simplify it less veg time equals less plant which equals less bud. That doesn't mean you can't get a worthwhile yield of a short veg though.

As far as Rox goes, it's not too popular on here as it used to have a bad reputation but they've changed the formula since. I have used it recently and I'm happy with it.

A user called Jesse pinkman has a good diary on the use of Rox, I followed his advice on it and I'd suggest you read through that before you consider using it.

Rox was full of pgr@s from what i remember. I also discovered that 3 different bottles of rox product were mixed together to produce something called EA boost. this is horrible shit and makes your buds heavy as fook and hard, and burn horrible even after a month curing. So, i would look at one of the more well established brands like canna or vitalnik or Ghe or bio bizz, plant magic. many many good results from those

You can grow it in that space but you'll have to scrog it and be fairly aggressive with the tucking the branches, Just allow for more room than a regular plant as the stretch will fill the scrog fairly quick.

    Thanks for all your replies

I ended up going for x2 Indica strains. The seeds arrived last week and I ordered my grow tent and other kit yesterday :-)

My loft finally has electric so should be good to go this time next week.

Very excited and a little nervous - I am hoping to document it all with a grow diary
