Default What type of light do you use in veg and why?

If people could note down as the title says, there's always a massive difference of opinion😁

Just interested to know who uses what as myself and joker are confusing some members with different views.

As I said each to their own, what works for some doesn't for others😉

I use a 300w duel spec cfl for the first couple of weeks and then add my 250w blue spec MH along side the cfl.

I then swap those for my 600w duel spec hps just before I flip through til flower.

    Thanks people of the talk😎

Do you have a blue mh or duel spec?

It's always good to have a bit of red as well as blue, that's why I use both😜

Mine get the 400-600w MH from the off. In a smaller space it's the 250Mh. Ive never got on with cfl always found the growth rate to be far too slow.

But defiently MH for veg the blue sprectrum gives nice short stocky plants

If you don't get at least 6 against this bag of poo, you don't deserve champions league.

Shocking display, but we still beat spurs 😂😂😂😂

I use a 125 cfl at cuttings stage then straight on to the 400w/600w duel spec untill the end.

250w MH is perfect for me for both seedlings, cuttings and vegging in general. Never had a problem keeping bulb approx 7 inches away.
