Lighting for grow tent

Hey guys I have a question I was thinking of getting a 120×120×200 grow tent, but im not sure on what light to get ? I want high quality weed but also want the cost to be reasonable ? HPS or LED ? I'd prefer LED as theyre supposed to be more energy efficient 😀 Thank you

Im going for a 600w dimable hps in my tent(same size)

Ok..... from my limited Knowledge, in that tent i would get a 600W dimmable ballast and a 400W MH bulb and a 600W HPS if you could afford it.
It also depends on what your growing...photos/autos.
Alot of ppl go for 600W dual spec bulb and a 600W dimmable ballast.
That gives you quite alot of options for the least £££
I dont use LED but i reckon it takes a bit of dialling in and using it is a bit more involved whereas HID lamps are tried and tested with loads of info around about them....
Also ive heard led's can also create a bit of heat depending on the make.

A 400w-600w would be ideal for the tent size providing you have adequate extraction.. Something to bare in mind is Leds run cool. Whilst they may come across as cost efficienct if your ambient temps are low you'll need to provide heat during the day and night cycle at an extra cost.

thanks guys im doing autos at the moment so i should i just get 600 watt dimmable ballast with a 600 watt dual spec bulb? and if so what brand is reliable theres so many out there? and how many plants could i put under it? Thanks again and sorry for so many questions just dont want to get the wrong thing
