Been reading mixed opinions on temperature, some say this is OK and even higher is OK, although some say it's too high and shouldn't break 26c, what do you guys think?

It's higher than you would like it to be.... but be aware, on hot days your temps will rise!

25c lights on 22 lights off I think is perfect,, don't like it going over 27,, you can get an air con unit that uses water,, and you can plum it into the water supply.. Their fantastic,, I wouldn't be running g my room at these type of temps but sometimes it can't be helped mate,, hope this helped

Those con units working with water, how do they cool the air? Do they give aout cold steam or what? Do you use them in a groom?

A small Aircon runs at over 1000w & that's why I haven't got one, but yeah as above they're great at lowering groom temps...

From personal experience its not the worst they can cope, but cope being the key word. I use NFT so can get a bit more flexibility with air temps along as res temps are cool. Recommend keeping it at 27 tops which can be struggle in summer if don't have necessary equip. LED,air con,air coolers, insulting ducting and lights all help depends on budget.

Just noticed all these replies now, musta been baked when I posted this and forgot about it 😂

Managing to keep it under 27 so far and if it goes above that I just switch the ballast down to 400w. Also got my extractor pulling in air and ducting pointed over the lamp which is in place of the broken cooltube I got sent till I get a new one 😑😑 seems to working ok though 😊 pic below
