I think neem is more for shit that sucks on tbe plant people.

That above I must say didn't just happen over night.

Where's the ipm people, take hydrogen peroxide mix 1:4 with water and spray the fuck out the top of the pots so it goes down a good few inches you will see it bubbling.
    This will kill larvae etc.
Get sticky pads up and make it difficult for the fuckers now, get the hoover in there,

I hang a pad from a branch so it hovers about 5mm above the top of the pot and this catches them coming in and out to land.

You've got a job on your hands there stirl 420, lack of observation is a bit of a understatement these fuckers have a cycle of about 15-17 days
Food grade diatomaceous earth is much better than sane its got a lot more benefits for the plant
    Good luck

Yeah that bad boy is no aphid.
Does look to be a fungus gnat.

Hope you get it sorted with the traps and sharp sand.

    Cheers

I know it's no help but, we all have to learn the hard way sometimes. 😬

I'd go with happyjacks suggestion asap. Blast em with a hose then diluted soap.
Then I'd do what redz says tomorrow and make it my days work today to purchase the items he's listed.

    Good luck

    Buggers ey.

Luckily I have absolutely none on my other babies.
From now I'm I'm going by "prevention is greater than a cure" and gonna start a neem oil spray every so often just to make sure.

Removed all the affected areas.on the plant and spraying/washing regularly to clear them out within this life cycle.
