Herbmans first grow! (Advice needed)

Hey!
Looking to grow 3/4 autoflowers indoors hopefully, and WITHOUT any artificial light source. Purely for the fact I'm not always home to supervise the lights and leaving lights unattended in my household is a massive no go.

I'm looking for advice on a simple potentially windowsill grow, from seeds, pot sizes, soil and anything else you might think I need to know for this. I intend on purchasing the seeds in the next 24 hours with any equipment I might need as I said I'm not purchasing any lights hopefully nature will take its course.

Whilst a windowsill grow is a nice idea, it'll stink the house out

Why not grab one of those cheap plastic greenhouses & grow outside instead?

Thanks for quick reply, stinking the house out isn't a major issue for me wouldn't make any difference if I was growing or not lol although the greenhouse idea has crossed my mind, I'd rather keep it indoors though if possible nosey neighbours...

This will be my first ever grow so any tips are appreciated

Stinking the house out is always a major issue You will smell of weed, as will all your clothes Anyone coming to the door will smell it also I'd have a rethink...!

Anyway, 10L pots from the off is what you should be looking at. Soil will depend on which country you are in - as will the availability of brand name nutes...

Yes you can grow plants on your windowsill, but with no fans, no odour control, no nutrients, no lighting, no humidity control, will it be worth it? You'll likely get hardly any decent bud worth your time and give up half way through because the plants will be pathetic.

This probably isn't the answer you were looking for, but it's a realistic one and I am sure many other UK growers will agree.
