The benefits of refreshing your medium cannot be overstated, with a run off at EC1.9, based on input of EC1.2 you're storing up trouble for the future, get it flushed, 3 x pot size of DC plain water, give it a couple of days & then flip to 12/12.

Nice one. Thank you. Appreciated. So just drop the feed and ph at 5.8 as per and I'll see how they do.

@Rockhopper - Thanks for pitching in. When you flush, do you drench them or do I run it through with the watering can I use?

I have a 250L barrel I fill with water, allow it to stand for 24 hours to dechlorinate, then flood the pots thoroughly, not feeding the plants here, we're cleaning/flushing the coco of the salt build up.

I would recommend a 60/40 coco/perlite mix. I agree with dropping the clay pebbles, they are too big in my mind. I have heard the you can't over water coco business, but I have done it, I grow around 20/30 house plants in coco and they do not get the attention they should and mistakes are made.

I personally always flush between veg and flower, and have found it very beneficial. My plants love it. But I have been a pretty heavy feeder (EC2.4) until very recently, so the flush has been essential.

With your higher runoff I would think you could probably dial back your feed a little to EC1.1 with no ill effect, which will make your feed go a little further and if your plants stay healthy and the run off EC drops, it will be easier to flush.

But what works for you and what you feel like you want to do is the best for you. I mean if your gonna do it, might as well enjoy yourself on the way to harvest.

The Bac silica power is full concentrate so don't exceed the recommended dosage. You can use this through veg and flower and will give great results in plant health and stem thickness. The Coco booster is again full concentrate and is to be used up until week 2 of 12/12 at 0.25ml per litre. The final bloom is to be used at 0.5ml per L for the final 3 weeks of the flower cycle, don't use this anytime before as the title states, it's ratios are designed for the final stage. Hope this helps

So......you're not going to beleive this......just finished flushing....and get this......120 litres @ ph 5.8 run through 1 plant and it's been sitting at ph 6.0 for last 30 litres. I've been at it for hours. The plant seems fine but I've stopped now. Can't wait to hear what you all have to say....
