Hey Gang. I'm Matt. An Australian who joined this website to see other peoples grow diaries and to share mine. As of now, I have yet to post pictures of my grow. But I will as soon as I can. I've grown once before outdoors and it was huge and satisfying though could've been far better. Heaps of times it was over watered, under watered, pests, etc. The diary I'm about to post will be about my new, FIRST indoor grow from seeds of unknown origin. I have a tube with a few hundred seeds from a fair few different places in Australia. So each grow is a lucky dip!
My Indoor setup consists of:
an 80x80x160cm growing tent.
a 600w ViparSpectra Veg/Bloom LED grow light. (about 250 true watts)
Some canvas bags as pots, filled with general soil and nutrients. (the canvas bags might be a bit large)
One extraction fan at the roof, and one pedestal fan hiding at the roof pointing down to the plants.
Simple enough. Works fine so far.
Each plant has a unique trait I haven't seen (or haven't seen so obviously ) before.
My first grow was 4 Large sativa dominant plants, and one small 'duckfoot' plant. (duckfoot is was mad, tasted like lemons)
This time, it is three indoor plants.
#1. Started earlier than the others. The unique part; it's leaves are far more indica shaped than anything I've seen before
#2. Started late. This one had a stem as thick as the older plant before it even had its first circular leaves. Now, instead of a three finger leaf as it's first true leaf, it skipped to 5 finger leaves straight away. This must have been one damn fine seed.
#3. It was chosen for its abnormally bright red stem. I Transplanted it and it's hard to notice the color now, but it was there. Hopefully it means the plant will be unique.
(picture will be uploaded tonight for all plants.)
Thanks for reading and welcoming me! I'll be in touch.
