    You may struggle at 400w... but I reckon it'll be doable... but not in mid summer!

    Buy the 400 bundle, you can dim the lumatek bulb to 250, it's designed for it. Then 400 when ready at the flick of a switch. Make sure you get the Pro filter and not the Hobby version. Costs slightly more but lasts twice as long.

    Will the 400w ballast dim down to 125w? Just thinking. For while they are seedlings...

    No But the 250w ballast will dim to 150w

    250 is fine for seeds mate.
