    Default Led size

Hi their im looking at grow tents and the one I would like to go with is a 120cmx120cm tent. Would a 1000w led be sufficient for this? Thanks Panzer

Depending on true watts.. leds are very misleading unless you understand a little.. i.e.. A 1000w led will produce nothing compared to a 1000w hps..

I'd do some reading mate.. welcome to the forum btw

Depending on the brand on how much youre willing to pay , theres one called Platinum LED ,top of line apparently , like 1600$u.s for a 900w or so .

A standard led aint much good past her footprint tbh 1.5 at the max at 14" . But they can do well ,i was well impressed ,i yeilded more from a 300w led then a 400w hps when i got my led's , catsass is you put both in and creates a multi spectrum wonder .

Thanks guys well im currently looking at the viparspectra one which is 405 actual watts. I would like a kind one but they are out of my budget. Im happy to buy 2 smaller ones but 1 larger model would be best for me but i want to make sure they have enough light. I should also point out that all the space wouldnt be plants as i want to put items such as heater, hydro etc in there (it will be in a garage)

Can't speak on that particular light but I've got an 800w Roleadro cob, off Amazon, that has not disappointed me, it covers a 3.5ftx3.5ft area nicely, I got mine for $175.
