    Default Help with passive intake

Alright guys, I'm current using 2.4x1.2x2 tent with a 8inch hyper fan that pulls 1206 m3 per hour for exhaust, it's hooked up to a fan controller but with the warmer temperatures outside its running nearly full whack when lights are on. For my intake I just use a passive 8inch is this enough or should I have 2 8" passive a or like an 8 and a 6?

It depends on where you air is coming from and where it's going.

Firstly does your exhaust run out in to the same room/chamber that the tent is in?

Does the passive intake bring in fresh air or air from the same room/chamber that the tent is in?

If it's all blowing into and from the same place then you can't do anything because your just circulating the same air over and over again.

The exhaust goes into the loft and intake pulls from pretty close to a open window/same room as the tent

If you can get another 6 or 8 inch near that window then I would think it would help. The more cooler air you can bring in the better and you can is more than man enough to pull through 2 8 inch😉

I've been thinking about a 6 inch hyper fan for intake as that would plug straight into my controller, just when lights are of I think it may drop too cool. I'm gonna give this other 8 inch ago and if that doesn't help, I'll get a proper intake.

A fan controller will take care of that for you
