Learning to roll

Hey guys,

As i wrote in my "Indroduction" I'm completely new to smoking cannabis and I have no idea how to roll but would love to learn. I'm not sure what brand of papers to use or even how to make a roach or what i should make them out of? Any tips for rolling in general would help me a huge amount!

Youtube would be your best option. I've seen some long term smokers rolling horrible joints still. It'll become second nature after a while.

I am shockingly bad at rolling up.
I try my best, but they just end up a pathetic mess.
Mr Starling is an ex - smoker who used to roll his own, so I usually get him to roll for me, which is a big achievement because he hates anything weed related.

Practice with some rolling papers and sawdust - there are also rolling machines that you can buy but I don't know if they are a bit of a faff or not.

A rolling machine would certainly be a good bet for now. I know several people that use them that have been smoking for years

Only way to learn is practice, may as well dive in at the deep end. Quick vid then solid practice would serve him best I reckon.

Practice all the way no other better way to learn.

Do you have your own place or do you live with your parents?
Just thinking if you are still living in your parents house (nothing wrong with that - my 20 year old still lives at home!), please take into consideration their thoughts and rules about cannabis - in your introduction you mentioned being taught that all drugs are wrong, and I'm wondering if that teaching came from home, or school or both. :-)
