Oh bugger not bud rot?

Hi can anyone help
Checked my plants and found a dead looking bud on main cola it fell away when I touched it now I can see more damage inside
The dead bud wasn't wet and mushy just dry, the rest of the plant looks fine
So guys do I chop the hole plant down or just chop the main cola off or would doing that kill it anyway

Yeah joker the stem was brittle it's snapped back
And where the cotton bud is that is where normal growth remains

fuk mate, best thing do stick carry bag over it an chop at stem. you dont wana risk releasing any spores that might spread.

sucks big time mate. you might be able salvage some of that wen its chopped though, dry it separate.

i would take that whole cola off mate as i will only spread inside it and then possibly spread to the rest.

have you checked all the others mate very carefully? how the trichs lookin on them?

Yeah mate checked trichs, above the cotton bud trichs look flat dying and below and the other colas are healthy for now

Bagged and chopped
I will check other 2 plants regularly and what's left of this one

32 with lights on and hygrometer memory says its highest lights off was 49 normally highest usually around. 40
