Default Is my plant ready for harvest?

Hi everyone, I need some help. I can't tell whether my plant here is ready for harvest or not... I would really like to avoid harvesting too late and getting some couchlock, CBD-heavy stuff. These pictures were taken today, on the penultimate day of week 8 of flower, in daylight. This plant is from bag seed, but the friend I bought the weed from was only growing Durban Poison and White Widow strains at the time (and those plants were not grown from bag seed but from Duth Passion seeds bought at a headshop), so the mother flower was probably either of the two. This is my first grow and I'm using using soil. Any help, comments or advice are appreciated! Thanks

Looking good mate but only real way to tell is checking the trichomes, cloudy trichs is what it sounds like your looking for

Yellow/amber trichs the heavier the buzz

Need a loupe for that if you haven't got one already

    Hope that helps 😊

Thanks for the answers, guys! Lacking a loupe the best solution I could come up with was a combination of a strong magnifying glass of mine + the macro feature of my semi-pro camera. Not the best pics I know, but I hope they'll be useful. What do you think?
