Default Bigger ducting on smaller intake fan

Hey lads I'm just getting my set up back together but I'm planning on using the ecotechnics controller this time round meaning passive intake isn't an optioning this time....I have a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 meter tent with a 6 inch rhino pro filter and fan for extraction, and I have a 4 inch rvk fan to use for my intake but the question is will 6 inch acoustic ducting be sufficient enough to use with the 4 inch fan? Many thanks 🙏🏼

I've done this with my intake mate as I stupidly never got 4"ducting and just used the 6" I had from extraction... bit of a mission to get on tbh defo need more than two hands, I've used cable ties and jubilee clips...

As long as u don't move it around a lot and it just lies there it should be fine, mine is still attached but I'd say get 4" if you can

I would use bigger ducting anyways as it helps quieten it down.

I have 10 inch exhaust with 10-12 reducer and 12 inch ducting. A lot quieter than the 10 inch stuff.
