    Default 125w CFLs

    Hello dear friends,
I am preparing for my 2nd grow, after first one go really bad... maybe because i gave it bio nova from the beggining maybe the light... maybe the ph level which i did not checked and now i know it too high and i need to low it.

that was my fist bad luck grow setup, it is fine? what tips can you gave me for grow with 2 cfls 125w each?
I wish i will go through the way and get it flower, what cfls should i buy for the flower time ? same 125w or 120w 2-3 bulbs are enough ? what do you think ?
Yesterday i got me 3 auto seeds 1 amnezia haze and 2 cookies kush so the next grows will be auto and only 1 plant maybe in the next grow i will put 2 plants but for now only 1 plant under the lights.
    What would you tell?

The grow is in Israel by the way

If cfls are your only option:

    I would;

    - read cfl grow diaries and tutorials here on this site
    - go with one plant
    - train your plants well during veg to have many bud sites at the same level for better penetration
    - use more bulbs with less wattage. ie. 4 x 40 watts 2700K or mix 6500/2700 (flower)
    - keep the lights as close as possible to the plants (careful not to burn)

its not my only option... but it is interesting to me... i have read alot of guides about cfls and still got so many questions in my head...
I though 2 125w 6500k will be great and gave a good lumins i read about the more bulbs with less w but this 125w its fine no ? for the veg
for the flower i think i will buy 4 40w 2700 as you said and it will be fine no ?

hps are without a doubt better than cfl. why rob yourself of yield by using cfl. as you wont be saving any money on electricity buy using 2 x 125w cfl as thats 250w.

a 250w hps will out perform 2 x 125cfl no problem what so ever

If cfl is not your only option brother I would listen to joker_the_smoker and get myself a 250w hps and ballast.
If you still want to go with cfls give them a try since you have a setup done already. And have an opinion by your experience with them.

    Your 125w CFLs - 6,200 lumen each. A total of 12,400 lumen

My Sunmaster 250w HPS bulb - 33,000 lumen

Are you seeing yet why we recommend HPS ?

CFLs are OK to grow with, we were just pointing out that it won't give you the best results...
