How often do you guys wash the pre filter thingy on your carbon filter? I've never done it if I'm honest but I've read recently that you should.

If it looks dirty then I wash it... I can be remiss in that way

When I see it's dirty I buy a new filter.
When I see it's dirty I throw it it the washing machine.

Every grow I just give it a good hoovering !!! 2 grows later still going strong
