    hi all I'm using verve soil but its really hot for the strain I'm doing
    what I want to know is if I wash it a good few times before I put the seed in (for next time) will this get rid of some of the nutrients

    I would have thought so, but why not go for a lighter soil like biobizz light mix if the soil your using is too heavy with feed for your liking? just a thought 😊

    tbh you are being mentored by m-c,who knows more than most when it comes to using verve/autos etc so perhaps keep with your mentor for now

    nothing worse than helping someone out for them to start running around elsewhere asking others.

    as an aside ive never classed verve as a hot soil,theyre not going to nute up a £3 bag of soil.

    on a side note M_C can you give us run down on dolomite not for the pepsi
    just for future use got 5kg sat in the wardrobe ie how long you leave and how much you would mix in a 10lt pot
    not in any rush will remind you towards the end of the diary

    I use a couple of tablespoons per 5L of soil, & make sure you mix it in well... then leave it for about a month
