I would have thought so, but why not go for a lighter soil like biobizz light mix if the soil your using is too heavy with feed for your liking? just a thought 😊

I've done autos and photos in verve and never found it to be to hot. Does it kill your seed dead or just make the tips of your seed go a little brown. It usually comes good if you sit tight and let the seed get used to it. Here's my cheeky auto right now in verve and I havnt fed it once yet

    Stunning specimen my friend

And to answer the OP verve is is spot on but yes u can wash the nuits out if u like,if u start ur seed in glass water, paper towel then a root riot or peat plug way,u shouldn't have a problem I have had a lot of trouble with seeds lately I'm sure some fishy is going on at attitude seeds, any really Carnt see the soil being ur problem,
Me personally this grow I'm goin with biobizz light mix then all mix
    Happy harvests to all

there does seem to be different versions of verve from what ive seen, well, different bags anyway, one has the extra words "season long" which i would presume is a hotter version perhaps?,must admit i didnt read bag label, just saw 3 for tenner n went with that .

recently i potted some auto seedling rootits into a verve-allmix 50/50 mixture,at intervals, and have fed just rootboost n 1ml/ltr old timers when pots went light, tiny bit of burn on last small seedling but they look ok otherwise.
