Default First grow, autos too small?

OK, so I've got 2 autos on the go at the minute under a 600w LED setup. To be fair they've only been under the lights for about a week and a half as I had to wait a little while for delivery, before that they were on a sunny windowsill then for about a week I bought 2x temporary low wattage LED bulbs but kept them on the same windowsill. Fed them twice in the last 2 weeks. (ordered that late too)

I only just found out the other day what autos were, (yea, total noob) I just assumed I'd be able to veg with the lighting cycle as long as I wanted and that autos were just easier to grow, but now I find out they decide when they want to flower lol.

My plants are exactly 3 weeks old today (from germination) and they're 20cm max. I checked some pics of plants that have started the flowering stage and mine have the white hairs appearing, have I messed my grow up? I know flowering will be another few weeks but I assumed veg state was where you get the height/volume. Do they grow much more in flowering?

Sorry, very new to this, just a bit worried I've messed up.

put pics on mate. go to 'introduce yourself' section and get posting, think you need ten posts before you can put pics on.

Thanks mate, had to post a few "welcomes" in the introduction forum to post pics. Gotta be honest I didn't really wanna post pics to avoid embarrasment lol but obviously it's the best way for you to answer. You may wonder about the size of the pots, and that may well have had an effect on the growth but I honestly thought I had a lot more time before I found out what autos were, I was planning on transplanting them to their final pot right about now but I don't know if there's much point now. (unless you tell me different)

Anyway here's the pics I took just now, 3 weeks:

All strains are different. The amount of light, size of pot and strain all have effects on size of plant. Nothing is wrong with the size of yours for 3 weeks.. I just harvested a plant that never got over 2 foot and had 2 ounces on it when dried. Autos should be started in the final pot though. can we see some pics with the lights off?

Thanks mate, really appreciate you're input, feel a bit better now :-) Shame about the pots though, would it be too late to transplant now?

Id leave answering that to MC, I've never transplanted one. He has grown many more autos than I have.. he would know better than myself. @M_C

I've grown most autos than most people you will ever talk to... 9 years of autos under the belt

You really have picked a shitty time to think about up-potting them... your choice mate...

Haha screw it I've already messed up so why not lol. Think I'll just do the one on the right though, looks a bit more healthy to me, and see how they both do.

    Thanks again :-)
