    Default Antifreeze for food

Okay, I've made a big mistake. I left for the weekend and had a friend come over to feed my two plants. He mistook plant food for antifreeze that came out of my motorcycle and fed them both with it. That was on Saturday evening. I got back today and both were wilted and the tops brown. Is there any hope of salvaging them? I've tried flushing one of them as best as I could...still trying... they're both two to three months old and still in vegetative stage.

They're in fox farm ocean soil and rootmaker three gallon pots.

You need to flush at least 3 times pot size plain water to be sure the medium is rid of the chemical and hope for the best. What damage is done most likely won't improve on the old growth. But as your still in the vegative stage you may be ok by giving them a while longer vegging to bring them back to full health before flower.

Yeah I agree with blue, a good flush, I put mine under the tap in the sink for 5/10 mins and let loads of water run right through them.
Prob don't new that long but it just makes me feel comfortable that I'm starting with level grounds.

Yes, I'd like to know if he's home from hospital yet and if the casts on both of his legs itch.

    Ha.

We sure this stuff will be safe to smoke even if it's flushed and given time to reveg and flower?

    What's in antifreeze?
