My water is classed as 'hard', it has an EC of 0.5 - it causes me no problems

    Which nutes do you have?

It's only nutes specifically designed for soft water that may have issue, such as Bio Bizz (spit!)

Oh that's where I'm getting confused I been resins loads of threads trying to cover all angles of my Grow before I get started and come to hard and soft waters the impression I got was there were 2 types of nutrients hard and soft and if you had the wrong one it would counteract. I'm getting there slowly lol
