Default Nutrients and when to start feed?

    Evening all,

So as the title says just when do you start giving your plants nutrients. I am currently growing in plant magic soil and have just moved into week 5 and have gave them the first feed of OT Bloom and after just a couple of days the leaves are showing brown spots so guess its to early. Read lots of people saying "I feed when my plants tell me"

So my question is just when do you start your feed, what signs do you look for that they now need the boost of nutrients.

    Thanks for any advice

Sign for me to feed would be pale colour to the leaves, lightening from bottom to top would indicate a lack of nitrogen.

Calcium and magnesium have tale tale discoloration of the leaves which is easy to learn once you've seen it and would indicate the plants need more feed or more cal/mag.

5 weeks sounds about the limit for nutrients in plant magic soil so without seeing the plant I can't be sure but I wouldn't necessarily say you've feed to early.

Brown/orange spots would make me think of calcium deficiency but a picture says a thousand words.

I have read that you need to feed pm soil supreme from the word go as the plants are slow at growth and the soil is very lightly if at all anything fertilised? Is this correct as I would like my plants to grow as fast as possible.

Also is that the first feed your plants have had not even grow or root additives?

Completely the opposite from what I've seen on here

Just need to add perlite to air it out a bit more

If you look in blues diary he's got a good mix going on 😉👍
